I got this done for my 21st birthday. It looks crooked in this shot because of how I’m laying and the angle of the camera.
It’s written in Tolkien’s Elvish and says “I-viriel bladed ù-thel firiel vista” which translates into “Not all those who wander are lost”. This is also a passage from Lord of the Rings from a poem about Aragorn.
I have always been a huge Lord of the Rings fan to the point of obsession. I think that Elvish is beautiful in sound and look. And I believe that the quote is very important to keep in mind.
It is my first and only tattoo, but I do plan on getting more!
